A simple story

Content

This is a love story. It begins God and the creation that  God brought into being with the Word of God, Christ… We pick up when God decided to create me. When I was introduced to my Creator, and when I decided to own up to who I am in Christ….every part of me that God created and how I am starting to cherish, love and allow God to heal all of it. This is where I decided to read God’s words like a love letter and where I began to love back. This is what that looks like, from my point of view.

I love God.
I love Christ.
I am a lesbian.
I love music more than life.
I love writing.
I document life.
I make playlists on a daily.
This is a place for it all.

If I understand you correctly, you have recently begun to find the positive side of being lesbian and Christian, helped by Chris Glaser and GCN. Now you have embarked in the blogging journey for yourself.

Well done. this is a great start. Keep up the good work. Don;t allow yourself to bediscouraged after the initial enthusiasm wears off – we need all the help we can get.

I like the look of you Blogroll and other links, which I look forward to exploring, and have added your link to QTC.

You are correct Terence. I’m not sure that I would have had the courage to be open about it before. Revelations come daily, and as they do I will continue to document them. Thanks for the encouragement and the link!

I thought you must be “ticina” who left a very generous comment on Queering the Church. It would have been far too much of a coincidence to have had three of us all reading Glaser “Coming Out as Sacrament” at the same time.

I meant to say in my original comment, “Welcome to the blogging community”. So – I’ve said it now.
